In April 2014, Laser Beam, a musician I connected with through Soundcloud, challenged me to write a happy song. Well, I've never been able to manage anything happy without it being shit, so I thought about what actually made me happy at the time of writing this song, and it was all those great people I had connected with on Soundcloud. Musicians and listeners who had supported me to the extent that I had 6 songs on the charts over a 3 month period, sometimes on 2 tracks on different charts. This was just so amazing to me that I wanted to thank them and at the same time, make a song for everyone. This IS A lalaLove song is what I came up with. It landed on the Indie chart just after 13 or so hours of being released. Mind blowing, but this time, my SC friends joined me.
